I want to introduce my selft, my name is Subandi Rubbish Artist from Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. My job is to recycling the rubbishes into functional artworks. Like: piggy bank, personalized piggy bank, kid piggy bank, baby piggy bank, children piggy banks, large piggy banks, unique piggy bank, antique piggy bank, money piggy bank, coin bank, coin box etc.. All rubbishes I got from street, river, ditch, where the garbage disposal, etc.

I'm recycling the rubbishes to be art craft in a traditional method, without chemical substances and the machines that cause environmental pollution. Because the artworks made from rubbishes then I call it "Recycle Rubbish Art" and I invest myself to be a "Rubbish Artist" aka "Trash Artist" ha ha ha ... a strange nickname ...?

Why do I make art and crafts from rubbish? Because the material abundant around us and of course it's free he he he .... Besides, my primary goal is to clean our environment from rubishes that the preservation of our nature.

Helo sobat pecinta seni sampah daur ulang dan lingkungan hidup di seluruh dunia, salam kenal dari Subandi Seniman Sampah.

Saya bekerja mendaur ulang sampah menjadi barang-barang seni kerajinan tangan yang fungsional. Seperti kerajinan tangan untuk celengan, tempat permen, tempat coin dll. Bahannya semua dari sampah yang saya dapatkan dari pingir jalan, sungai, tempat pembuangan sampah, dll.

Sampah-sampah tersebut saya olah secara traditional, tanpa zat kimia dan mesin-mesin yang menyebabkan polusi lingkungan. Karena bahan-bahannya terbuat dari sampah maka saya menyebutnya sebagai "Seni Daur Ulang Sampah atau Recycle Rubbish Art" dan saya menobatkan diri menjadi "Rubbish Artist" alias "Seniman Sampah" ha ha ha...julukan yang aneh...?.

Kenapa saya membuat seni kerajinan tangan dari sampah? Karena bahannya melimpah disekitar kita dan gratis tentunya he he he....Disamping itu tujuan utama saya adalah membersihkan lingkungan kita dari sampah-sampah yang mengganggu kelestarian alam kita ini.

I love rubbish so much. I am Bali Rubbish Artist. Rubbish give me ideas, activities, happiness, friends, love and money.

Mess, dirty, untidy, and useless the others think, but for me it's a "Gold Mine". I live and play with rubbish. I tear them, soak them with water, pound them with big hammer, give some glue, and then bend them to be something. At last, I give them "art spirit" to make them life.

Amazing, I can make money from rubbish and keep the world clean. I want to help my next generation live in clean world life. And hope me, we can work together to make my dream come true.

Bali Recycle Rubbish Art Product sometimes I call it original Exotic Bali Product design. The idea come from my daily life experiences. To many rubbishes, no one care about them. I heard tey called me, "Help Me Please!".

And then I try to help them (the Rubbishes) to be useful thing for human life. I make coin box, candy box, piggy bank/money box, home decoration, etc from useless rubbish all in exotic, unique, original, and sensational design.

Balinese Painting
Balinese Painting was subject to outside influences, particularly from Western painting, during the late 1920s in the Ubud area in Gianyar, south Bali. While some foreign influences on traditional painting already were being used since the late 19th century, major changes occurred due to the influence of Walter Spies (German, 1895-1942), who emphasized light, shadow, and perspective in his works. Rudolf Bonnet (Dutch, 1895-1978), on the other hand, focused on anatomy and portraiture. Both of them came to Bali in the late 1920s and built their studios in Ubud with the assistance of the local prince Cokorda Gede Agung Sukawati (1910-1978), a patron of Balinese art.
